ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
TAKE NOTE OF THE BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING:
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the abstract submission form. No fax copies, disks, or email submissions will be accepted. Poster abstract submissions must be in English.
- Abstract text must not include citations.
- Abstracts must not refer to proprietary names.
- Institution names should not be included in the title or body of the abstract to ensure blinded and non-biased review. In cases of previously reported data, authors are responsible for ensuring copyright compliance.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Abstracts are open to all professionals invested in the field of HPB cancers.
- Topics broadly related to HPB cancers, basic, translational, clinical or implementation science risk factors (viral hepatitis, aflatoxin, and others), clinical care, cancer or viral hepatitis elimination efforts, clinical or research capacity building efforts, and cancer registries will be accepted.

PARTICIPANT DISCLOSURE INFORMATION
- Authors must disclose any significant financial interest or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or providers of commercial services discussed in an educational presentation, as well as any discussion of unlabelled or unapproved use of drugs or devices.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Submissions will be reviewed and rated by members of the Abstract Review Committee who have clinical and research expertise in the field of HPB cancers.
- Each submission will be reviewed for its scientific or clinical importance, ethical practice, and study design. Exceptional abstract submissions will be selected for oral presentation.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Acceptance of an abstract does not guarantee travel sponsorship.
- Abstract submissions are due Wednesday, 30 April 2025.

The presenting author should create and complete the online submission, and not the co-author.
All communication will be sent to the author who created the profile.

Insert the full title of the proposed presentation. (Limited Words at 20)

Please select the category your abstract best fits.

Insert full names and affiliation details of all co-authors. Please note that co-authors must have approved of their inclusion of abstract submissions before final submission of the abstract to the 2025 AHPBCC Programme Committee.

Insert the text of the abstract. You will not be able to type additional words once the 500 word limit has been reached, so please check your abstract once submitted. Check that the full abstract has been successfully uploaded by logging out and logging in to your profile again before final submission.
Your abstract should state clearly what your presentation will cover how it will contribute to the particular session and be of benefit to the audience.
Please submit you abstract per the below format:- Objective – Provide a statement of the objective of the study.
- Methods – Describe who, what, where, when and how the study was done.
- Results – Explain “data rich” results.
- Conclusion – State what can be concluded from the study and its implications.
